RMIT University Ad Campaign
A commissioned ad campaign for RMIT University’s Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) program.
During my final year of university, I was commissioned by RMIT to develop an ad campaign, showing the outcomes of current students and alumni of the Communication Design course. Working alongside a journalist, videographer, photographer and a second designer, we created a series of seven large format posters, an A5 publication and video, which have since been used as promotional material during orientations and open days.
The project required coordinating interviews with over twelve current students and alumni of the program, recording their interviews, editing video, and designing collateral. We were asked to focus on the pathways of these interviewees, and how particular studio classes had influenced their study and career trajectories. In addition to being used for advertising, RMIT was in the process of reviewing the degree structure at the time of the project, and faculty referred to the responses in these interviews to help inform their changes.
